cant agree more they should have left it where it belongs stuck in a 70s gravy no remake is as good as the originals and they were bad

Really? I thought episode 1 was fantastic and can't wait for the next one tomorrow. The humour was just right, and I thought Christopher Ecclestone was superb, something about that crazy stare was spot on for the Dr's role.

I can understand why Eccelston quit but it's really annoyed me.
Doctor Who is something special and you carry a certain responsibility when you take the job, there's history there and if you can't see that and treat it with the respect it deserves, you shouldn't apply for the job.
Actually, I'm really p_ssed off by this.
