Great pic Printer - Cannot wait to get there

Where is the rental? We hope to be out in September and will have to rent at first so looking out for places at the moment. Is the trip over the bridge a real bind? There must be people buying in the westbank (due to cheaper prices) but working downtown and having to do it daily.

Hi Chris

The rental is a called Guest View heights and is fantastic for short term or holiday but expensive for more long term although she did give us a good deal on the 3 weeks we booked.

We have been back and forth across the bridge and it is a pain sometimes and i am told it is really bad if a vehicle breaks down or there is an accident.
I am not sure it would be good to do it on a daily basis but i guess it depends what time you travel, also the new bridge wil hopefully help but that's 3 years away.
We are looking at property on both sides of the bridge.

I don't know who told you that the bridge will be another 3 years.
Have you looked at it? It i well on it's way to being finished

The William R. Bennett Bridge, scheduled for completion in the summer of 2008, is the centerpiece of a revitalized road network in the Okanagan.

The five-lane structure will relieve congestion along Highway 97,

Have a look at this site, there is a lot of info about it.

Hi Welshman,

Do you make the trip across the old bridge on a daily basis at the moment.
Is it do-able if you end up working downtown or is it a real chore?
