That sounds like heaven...I love the stuff. When I lived in Sheffield I used to buy liquorice tablets...god they were good.

I wasn't really complaining.....honest!!! I would rather Alberta's sunny weather any day to damp wet England

We really should get Air con.

The toughest thing about being a civil Servant is to put 2 hours of work into an 8 hour day.
My husband John was born in Windsor, moving the to UK when he was 12; he has some relatives in Windsor, and when we have visited over the last two years, everyone we meet has been very welcoming. Also - I like the idea of being able to nip into the USA, even though I have never nip through the channel tunnel!

We can to Windsor in March and really like the feel of LaSalle, enrolled the older two boys in Sandwich High and bought a home to be built; so far we have a basement!
LaSalle seem to stretched over a large area, we will be near the outlet mall.

Move out of Hull? Should we be in any rush?
OH is an Electrician and is looking into getting his qualifications sorted for Canadian recognised. We have applied for PR but hoping that he will get a job and do it that way and maybe he can work while the application goes through.
We're planning a trip out to BC in the hope he can take his exam whilst we are there. And take it from there!
Are you Hull born and bred?

No plans to move there?
I guess you don't have to, with your daughter living there, you can have a piece of both - US and Canada
Where in US are you Jerseygirl?
