Although I have experienced slimy ham in the UK it does seem to be more common here. The ham doesn't taste as good either.

I'd have to have the two side by side for comparison.
Love the way people have the ability to remember taste and see food from thousands of k away!

I've bought ham in a packet and it was fine. Perhaps cold but it's been in the fridge!

When one eats ham in one country then flies to the other and eats ham 36 hours later, I'd say that person should have a pretty good memory of how the first lot tasted to them

But Badge the difference is a lot more than subtle. Six months ago in the UK we loved the stuff. Here it's slimey, rubbery and tasteless.
