Is is a fast or slow sofa?
We first had Optus DSL which was 'promised' to be 20 Mb line. Turned out to be less tha 2 Mb. Changed to Telstra cable.
Diabolically Slow Link.

When supermarket cooked ham is slimey and has the texture of low grade rubber.

I beg to differ, just as a personal opinion. Never experienced slimey ham till I got here, unless it had been around too lond and was only good for the bin. Here I've developed the strange habit of drying the ham before I eat it

It's the worst ham I've ever known. I'd rather eat spam than that stuff.

Although I have experienced slimy ham in the UK it does seem to be more common here. The ham doesn't taste as good either.

Love the way people have the ability to remember taste and see food from thousands of k away!
I've bought ham in a packet and it was fine. Perhaps cold but it's been in the fridge!

When one eats ham in one country then flies to the other and eats ham 36 hours later, I'd say that person should have a pretty good memory of how the first lot tasted to them

But Badge the difference is a lot more than subtle. Six months ago in the UK we loved the stuff. Here it's slimey, rubbery and tasteless.
