I would be a little happier if I was in AUS but apart from that yes.

I know. Sometimes it's hard work though M. I'm sure it's just a phase. I'm booked for a lovely holiday in a couple of weeks so that should put me right.

Life is like cards
Some people just get on with what ever hand they are dealt, others?
Well they could hold 4 aces but still find something to be whinging about.
BE certainly helps put things in perspective.

Im happy as a pig in poo for the most of it, happy kids, good job, building own home, saving money, got the sunshine (although it gets bloody cold down here), the sea/beach on my doorstep, mine and my families health = priceless!

Easy to say if you have cash behind you. Less so if you are poor and never likely to see that change no matter how hard you try.

We were not happy where we lived before so have moved and have been here nearly three weeks but the people we are buying the house from could not settle because they owed money now they are splitting up and can't agree on who gets what so we are in a house that we don't own yet paying a bigger mortgage on our old house!
I feel more settled here but will be pleased when the house is ours.I love the walk to and from school with my youngest and the other morning a couple of green parrots landed on a picnic table near us and I could understand how you felt PP it made me smile and feel contented.Sue.

Mr PP and I had breakfast at our local beach cafe this morning, breakfast and a cuppa - $9, the beach, fresh air and sunshine - free.
It was so nice, took the dog for a swim just before hand, really enjoyed it Talking of cuppa, I am about to make a mug of PG Tips, who would like one?

I parked the car and Mr PP got out and started laughing, telling me that one of the white cockies said 'hello' to him, I thought he was hearing things but sure enough, this chunky bird stood in front of us and started saying 'hello' and one of the others joined in.

Sue this morning Mr PP and I had brekkie at South Beach cafe, its nothing flash, just a basic little beach cafe - usually populated by dog owners.

That is not to say I am judgemental of their choice, but I do resent people claiming they don't have a choice in life. There is, its just whether people take it.

No, people are poor because they choose that option, For every person I have encountered who claims poverty each of them had an opportunity to rise from it. However they chose to remain a battler.
