Firstly, congratulations on passing the reading test.

Now let's do the maths. Population of the United Kingdom - 60,000,000 (that's 60 million - not sure you're up to counting all the pretty numbers). Population of Wales, a couple of sheep short of 3,000,000 (that's 3 million). Population of England (you know, big country, bit to the right of Wales, keeps your 'country' in laverbread and bonnets) - 50,000,000. So - given that this is British Expats - where do you suppose the vast majority of people that use this site come from? Could it be the massive 5% of the Welsh population of the UK, or the 84% who are from England?

Interesting. Do you hate all the English people that helped you out on this forum? Do you hate the vast majority of Australians (indigenous population aside) who come from English stock? Do you hate the one million English-born English people people who live in this country (that'd be one in 20)? And more importantly, if you hate the English so much - why do you "regularly watch Eastenders on UKTV" and support England in the cricket?

You keep telling everyone how rich you are. I suppose moving from a miner's cottage into some lego-like Wendy house might give you the impression that you're rich, but merely having a toilet *inside* the house doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Ok, OK enough.

Quit the personal comments now, all of you, or I close the thread.

C - We agree, poms are horrible creatures.

So I'm guessing that when you said " It has been a great day to be a POM here in Australia." it was actually your pet sheep at the keyboard?

Hmmm?

I must of really got under your skin eh? Trawling through months of posts to out me as a closet english fan.

You are a typical pompous englishman though, I expect no less of you.

BTW sshhh don't tell anyone but the team playing in blue and red at the moment in the caribbean is actually the England and Wales team.

Maybe you should go wake up the outlaws and go get some fresh air.

Didn't take a lot of trawling.

And sorry to disappoint, I'm half Australian and half Irish - actually, make that all-Australian since this is my home now.

Anyway anyway anyway...........

You come across as a young fella in your 20's or maybe very early 30's, from the brief read of your blog, young kid Josh and all that other crap in there.

I have grown out of arguing on internet chat rooms and am slightly embarrassed to even be having mud slung at me by someone like you, in normal life I would walk past you without a second look no doubt.

Have a good life.

Fair enough. Little tip. Don't say "I hate the English, most people do" on a forum used almost exclusively, by English people.

I agree.

Anyone who trots out the old line about "everyone hating the English" clearly hasn't traveled much further than Glasgow or Aberystwyth.

If Fat T*at had really seen the world he'd know that most people who were touched by the English empire have nothing but praise for their legacy.

(OK, OK a few problems in Palestine, Kashmir and North Borneo where we've done a runner but otherwise.....all tickety boo)

Never a truer word said in jest -(or not). Lets face it, the only people that hate the ''English'' tend to not have much going for them.
