New Zealand - would consider it if didn't want to remain in Aus, as have young family need support of family thus Aus is destination.
Europe - too bloody lazy to be bothered to learn a new language
Australia - Want to experience what it has to offer on a daily basis rather than a few weeks every decade or so. Have close family links so is the most viable option. They kinda speak English

Canada - Too cold in winter
America - Too weird
New Zealand - Too expensive
Greece - did consider it but there wasn't any work for my OH, I can't speak Greek (well none of us can
).
Turkey - Just didn't like it
France - Too many french people
Spain - Too many English people
They are the ones that were on our list along with Australia.

I prefered the shape of Australia - it's highly reminiscent of a complex hydrogen molecule.

Same could be said for Australia....
I went to see a house the other day and I saw the neighbour was out so went to ask him about gas supply on the street. What a nice bloke! Broad Yorkshire, so we had a chat about the footy, and I have to say, he was slipping... we'd been there a full two minutes before we got offered a cup of tea.
Nice neighbours.

Um, why Australia? It was the furthest point away from my parents.
