England now 3 for 168, but I expect a good partnership from KP & Collingwood. Plenty of nice boundary shots out there.

BBC says it gonna rain. Heavy rain Sunday, Light showers on Monday.

They have been known to be wrong before.

Oh dear. Looks like Mr Pietersen forgot to have his Biltong-Bix this morning.

4 for 192. Could a draw be possible?

Lead of 425 which on its own should be enough. I'd be tempted to instruct the batsman to open up and be very agressive for next 10 overs then declare and bowl at the Aussies for last 45 mins.

Hope you're right. It always amazes me that the BBC, Sky, Met Office can have different forecasts for the same place on the same day. Don't they all get the info from the Met Office?

I think it was probably the right decision to bat again 525 is already enough
It would be great to finish it off today, wich could easily happen if we get the top order out relatively quickly, this Australian side are not to great when the skrews are applied.

I think that result in Cardiff was a massive blow to Australia and a huge boost to England, that was truly one of the greatest escapes in cricket history and could be the deciding factor in this ashes series, Australia should never have let that one slip and when they were at there peak would have crushed England.

Its going to be an interesting test series - and I may have to change my views about the Ozzie cricket team..... I always thought Ponting was a very good captain. Perhaps not quite as good as Allan Border. But now I find myself thinking was/is Ponting just a mediocre captain who had some outstanding players? Now that the greats are no longer around in the Australian team they seem at the moment to be a pretty 'average' bunch. But l'm trying not to judge to harshly just yet. Its only the second test before we all get too excited. We know that they have the killer instinct and the capacity to hit back. The ashes are not over yet.

IMO he was a mediocre captain of great players. Now those great players have retired he is left only with the mediocre tag

This really would be truely demoralising if the Aussies lost this test, considering that they should have been coming into this test 1-0 up, instead they are staring down the barrel of a 1-0 deficit with only 3 tests to play. One of which you would think would be a draw.

This would be another moral victory to England if they can take this one, on top of the great escape of Cardiff
