I'd say the Poms finished even at the end of day one. It's all up for grabs.

Is it though. Flintoff should have left that ball alone. Trott should ahve stayed in his crease. Straus was just hanging his bat out there for no reason. Cook Mr Snicker, Collingwood shouldnt even be there and Prior just got out played by Johnson with the slower ball.
Its a fast ground, all the aussies have to do is be patient and wait for the crap ball and put it away. Bat for 2 days and then there is no way England can win

I cant believe the doom and gloom in the media this morning!
Warnie pointed out yesterday during commentary that the wicket is NOT a normal Oval wicket. It has broken up so quickly it is like a day 3 wicket after one days play. He adjusted his opinion to 350 being a good score on this wicket. Beefy agrees! Everyone has us dead and buried. We shall see today!

All out for 332.
I think Harmison could prove dangerous on this wicket.

Despite the tripe coming from Greg Matthews' mouth saying otherwise England bowled well in that session. They were disciplined and patient, something that has been missing for all too long. England deserved more in that session as Watson was all over the place in the opening 10 overs.

Pitch is delivering some turn for Swann already, so I shudder to think what it will look like tomorrow.

I don't know about the cricket but if I see that HR.Block ad once more I'm going to launch something at the TV:curse:

Well, that's the whole thing put to bed now.
My only consolation is that I predicted an Ashes win for England, and it looks like I was right.
