Yep Australia have been too bloody good for the last 2 decades, much longer really than most countries dominate for normally.

The only thing that still has me a little unsure about this being an England victory is that this pitch is supposed to be a minefield, yet we have just seen a century partnership with one of the batsmen making his debut.

The Aussies haven't got a proper spinner. I reckon even my Dad could get the ball to turn on that pitch and we cremated him 2 1/2 years ago!

A whole different ball game, we're under no where near as much pressure as they will be, they're going to have to bat for 2 days on a pitch they don't trust to not lose the ashes. They'll be bricking it.

"Ricky Ponting took a nasty blow in the mouth, England v Australia, 5th Test, The Oval, 3rd day, August 22, 2009"
I always knew he was a c#$ksucker

"Personally, I like the captain"
(not implying anything)

I want to know why the barmy army are so quiet? You'd think they'd be in fine fettle considering. And i have heard bugler boy all day!!

When in England they are so much more refined and behave themselves = beer doesn't boil in English summers!

To put it into context, a Barmy Army fan can fly and stay in W.I/Sub Continent/S.A and see 2-3 tests cheaper than they can to see one test match in England with travel, accom and tickets

Could take a while!!!
