Sorry Nicky - I think this is a scam too. There is a specialist Police Dept set up to deal with email scams. Goodness knows how you contact them, (do a Google search????) Perhaps they could give you advice? As the others have said, do not give them any further details.

Well I have some news but need some advice on it. We have our house advertised on houseladder aswell and a couple of days ago I got a lead asking for details and pictures to be sent to this foreign buyer by e-mail. Today I got another which I will attach below, please let me know what you think guys, could be good but not sure I also have his phone number but won't attach that bit. HELP!!!

Me and you will sign the property transfer deed, which will then be held by the a lawyer until completion of the payment to your account. Do you accept wire transfer?

After completion of the payment, the transfer deed, Land Registry certificate and the keys have to be handed to me. The agreement contract, transfer deed will be stamped and sent to the Land Registry to record me as the new owner.

If you accept my conditions, get back to me soonest ok, i will have to schedule a date for the survey and will also talk to my bank and you will need to bring in a lawyer. This is very urgent.
