Nicky I think it is a scam- he has English name but poor English and wants bank detail to "wire" through- DON'T RESPOND TO THIS- please be very careful or you could lose your property! Contact the police for advice.

I think so too. Might just lead him on a bit though for fun
Tease
Think he may notice you with your party frock, won't be quite the same as the 18 year olds form of dress
What you trying to say about my party frock?
Am googling away now to try and find out more and may report it.

Hi Julie I have to validate by beginning March, I know is seems like a long time but been on market since January and I sold it Feb but it fell through after a couple of days so getting a bit concerned as house has been on market over 6 months now and only had 5 viewings.

I have to validate this July. Mine been on since Sept had 1 low offer may take it as only had a few viewers.
I think now its starting to pick up. Been some good news on this site . Good vibes are around. We will all see the light at the end of this long dark tunnel.
Chin up

we finally got some feedback from our viewing on monday - she liked the size of the house but the layout is not ok for her. so she's sitting down now and going over the plans to see if she can fit it to her wishes - she's a developer and we think she'd want it for students - they were talking about turning the lounge into a bedroom
- as long as she pays us the money we want
we'll hear back sometime next week ......
oh, and we've got another viewing for tomorrow

Fingers crossed Mozzy for both
Will keep my fingers crossed for you Tina xx Happy birthday to your little boy
Well I have some news but need some advice on it. We have our house advertised on houseladder aswell and a couple of days ago I got a lead asking for details and pictures to be sent to this foreign buyer by e-mail. Today I got another which I will attach below, please let me know what you think guys, could be good but not sure
I also have his phone number but won't attach that bit. HELP!!!
Hello Mrs Nicola,
The property price thus £630,000, This is just to make sure that every thing is in the right order ok.
If we agree on the property, will you take the property off the market if your offer and conditions are accepted?
I think i have to take a survey of the property?
Me and you will sign the property transfer deed, which will then be held by the a lawyer until completion of the payment to your account. Do you accept wire transfer?
After completion of the payment, the transfer deed, Land Registry certificate and the keys have to be handed to me. The agreement contract, transfer deed will be stamped and sent to the Land Registry to record me as the new owner.
If you accept my conditions, get back to me soonest ok, i will have to schedule a date for the survey and will also talk to my bank and you will need to bring in a lawyer. This is very urgent.
Yours sincerely
Mark Henry.

My advice would be to talk to your solicitor.
How can someone want to buy a house who has not seen it . Would you?
Its just best to be safe than sorry.
Good luck

Well we find out by 3 today if our buyer who pulled a fast one yesterday and tried to get us to lower the price even more just before exchange if they will be buying our house
I held tight and wouldn't give in to his demands we are cut to the bone on the sale so can't drop anymore.
So EA has given him to 3 today to sort out what his gunna do
But I'm not letting this tosser of a buyer ruin my day it's my little boys 18th birthday party today

When we were selling our car we had loads of emails similar to this. They all got deleted.
Congratulations Fly!!!!!!!!!!!
There is hope for us all yet!!! Ours is 'House of the Week' in this weeks local rag - not had any calls yet - considering taking offer of £315K but theirs isnt even on the market!! See what this week brings - range EA and suggested an open house - they agreed but said one lady had one and only got 1 person through the door in 3 hours. Don't give a rats arse really - that one could be my buyer!!!!!!! Think they dont fancy coming but they need to earn their fee!!!!
Going to see Sex and the City tongiht - smuggling a bottle of wine into the cinema to add a bit of glamour - Dave is watching the Hulk in the next cinema with the boys so me and my sister can have a girly night!! He can then drive us home!!! Peed off with house selling - sometimes have second thoughts and worry about losing so much money and struggling in a foreign land - we both have decent jobs here and our home is lovely - terriefiend of giving it away and being skint and regretting it

You'll have a fab time tonight. I saw it a couple of weeks ago with a couple of girlfriends. It was fantastic. Very funny.

Just to give you some reasoning why I'm 99.5% sure it's a Nigerian scam... of which there are thousands of variations.
Often the greeting is overly cheery, or in this instance, not using your surname but addressing you as Mrs by your first name.
You have to look at the English used throughout. Whilst some scammers are refining their approach and getting ever more sophisticated, clearly English is not their first language in this case.
They will trawl sites of people selling anything on the net, and bang out one of these types of emails. They only need a minimal success rate in order to scam a lot of money, and they will try and lure people around the world, not just the UK. It's a multi-billion scamming industry.

Ea has rung to tell us the buyer is not returning her calls and his phone is going to voicemail so doesn't sound good
Was thinking of spliting the 5k with him but been told that banks don't change the deals once they have offered and agreed them so it has confirmed he was pulling a fast one
so we have taken the house off the market and are going to valudate in Oct know we could have 4 months of house selling but nothing is selling and this has happened 3 times now and cant take the stress

Off to get ready to gate crash sons party
His gunna kill me when he sees the baby photos I've put up

What a bummer. I hope he reconsiders. Even if he doesnt, you've done the right thing. the market is dire and it will get better. The stress is too much - i know - I've been there. Sending you huge ((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))) ))))))))))))))
