Hi all! I havn't posted for a while but I would like to thank all those people who replied to my last posting and i'm sorry i never replied back but things have been a bit hectic at the moment, although sadly nothing to do with the house. Congratulations to all those people who have exchanged on their house.
I have been getting a bit fed up with this house selling and even surprised oh the other day when i told him i wish we'd never applied for visa in the first place as if we don't sell house we won't even be able to validate visa and will lose out altogether. reason being it will cost to much and can,t even get loan as the way these houses keep dropping will have no equity. Get really fed up when my 7 year olds keep on about it cause they are so excited, going to knock another 5 off price tomorrow and just hope for the best. Even brought a st joseph and placed it facing road on front lawn as it says on instructions. Now I have had a rant i wish everybody else all the best.
Mozzy how did your viewing go? Was it with house network or your other EA.

Lots have knocked money off . I knocked 30k off as EA said it was for the best. Time will tell. Sorry to hear your kid is getting fed up it doesn't help when your stressed trying to sell. Houses are starting to sell. You only have to check this site. It will happen for you soon try to be strong. At lease your not on your own. And it dose you good to have a rant, if you can't rant on hear then where can you. Rant away. When have you got to validate by?

Rant away, it's an awful time. Don't know if it's any help, but I think we have reached the bottom of the crash and now it's just a slow steady period. Hold your nerve and hopefully a buyer will come along. Sending you some good luck Ks as I seem to be having luck today - 13 months on the market and 3 failed sales and we're almost there.

Sorry to hear you're so down, we've all been there, many times I wished we hadn't started the whole thing but hang on, it can only get better.
I think its realistic to drop your price as long as it will still allow you some level of freedom.

Hi everyone else,

Think you may have been chatting elsewhere but glad to see some of you are still popping in with news.

Got shippers coming tomorrow, had a phone call at 4pm saying they cannot ship our stuff until we have a permanent address in Oz, so looks like we will have to put it all in storage for a couple of months in the UK, I will argue that they can pay for it though as they never said this would be a problem.
I was only in their office on Monday morning with all the paperwork and told them we only had accommodation booked for the first 3 weeks and they said it was fine!

Things are never simple are they?

We shall just have to some more shopping out there as I really can't live out of my suitcase for that long

Thanks Hayles - haven't got the pigging visa still - DIAC not done anything for 10 weeks ................. so OH taking a 6 month contract - might not be there til feb 2009 now. Sigh!

6 months is not what you wanted but then again now you now it WILL happen and you can set a date

the viewing is with our EA, tbh with housenetwork we had 1 viewing in total () - lots of hits but they don't really count, eh?!

Seems that the good news is now spreading a bit. Looks to me like the housing market is stabilising at the lower level that we have all dropped to. Lets hope so anyway.
