Re: What's everyone doing on New Years Eve?
Am pulling all the clothes out of the wardrobe and thinking 'nah' nah' nah' - more than half don't fit anymore as I lost 26 kilos this year (mostly wanted to lose - but not so much)
May have to go into town and buy something new - but then it looks like I am making an effort and I don't want to give the wrong impression - oh God this is too bloody hard...

As above
This means nothing to me.
Anyway, enough Ultravox, as well as a decent cardio-vascular workout I will be dedicating New Years Eve evening to winning the funniest poster poll.
I will be targetting different timezones and any friendless souls in Oz that are either too ugly to go out or are in prison.
Edit, cancel that ... "This poll will close on Dec 31st 2010 at 7:34 am" ... 7:34am?!

The poll closing time is based on the time Alfresco set them up, which was early morning. Have to do your canvassing tonight instead!
Is she having a party?

Sleeping, same as every night, until some totally pi$$ed half wit starts honking his horn and waking the neighbourhood. Seen one firework seen them all I reckon.
Enjoy the date Sas, hope it is a good one!

The fireworks in Sydney Harbour are spectacular, trying to get home on a train isn't.
A few years ago I went to a hotel in Darling Harbour with my friend and we watched them from the verandah and then drove home much more civilized.

Personally I'd rather go next year instead and do it in style or maybe camping on Cockatoo Island.

Ach, like I said above, you have to do it once
We'll be out of town for the night, but not far out of town. Allegedly we will be able to see the fireworks from the restaurant at the place where we are staying.
Nine years ago tomorrow, it was a very hot day here. For some strange reason I remember it well
Think it's forecast to be pretty hot tomorrow so be sure to wear hats and sunscreen if you're standing around for hours, won't you?

If we go we'll remember the hats and sunscreen, thanks. ...And the mozzie stick
