What's everyone doing on New Years Eve?

Just wondering what all of you lovely BE'ers are doing for NYE? We're hoping to be up at Rainbow Beach/Fraser Island for some BOATING, CAMPING AND FISHING! LOL Can't wait to try out my new 'Kayak Wheels' that the OH got me for Chrimbo! http://kayak-shop.co.nz/images/Products/c-tug.jpg lol

So, over to you...

Getting slowly pickled on my own - or working, if this rain keeps up

Anyone who is around on New Years Day, the traditional gathering at the Pig and Whistle will be on as usual, all welcome

I think I'm going to be doing something really unusual and out of character like ....Drinking copious amounts of alcohol and stuffing my face with food.

Probably at Sydney Harbour to see our first Aussie New Year in. But SIL reckons we would need to be there around 3pm to secure a good vantage point  ...Not sure if it's worth the wait

Hmmmm try 9am dear! Its a total shit fight. And dont expect to get out of there in a hurry either. Best vantage points charge now and I think there are restrictions on alcohol too???

I will be at "The Beaches" with a load of other drunks singing in the New Year to a collection of "Countdown" favourites performed by a variety of local bands. Should be awesome - just hope it aint raining or it will be bedlum in there.
