I saw the same owl in the same tree today, the one I saw yesterday.
I was wondering if he was OK as he just seemed to be on the same branch giving me dirty looks, but perhaps it was 'his branch'.
Anyway, I got a lovely piccie of him.
Oh yes and I saw two cockatoos bashing a blackbird - that made me smile.

My youngest boy not only made me smile today - I've had a grin like a cheshire cat
we went to Leederville for the day (well we left home at 7.30am and returned at 1.30pm) and he played out of his skin in 2 rugby matches, he was absolutely awesome
talk about proud

What made me smile today? My husband and I went to Bunnings (our usual weekend haunt) and bought some fencing, then went to the local mall to do some shopping and had a nice coffee together. Got home, had a glass of wine while we put up the privacy fencing then had a nice chat with a friend who dropped around. Ate a lovely dinner of spag bol and then helped my daughter and her friend put up the tent in the yard so they could have a sleep out tonight. All in all...lots to smile about today.

ah I wish I'd known, I could've popped down for a coffee. Eldest has taken youngest to the speedway tonight cause it's nearly the end of season and they've got the fireworks. Mr S is sat watching the tv because the force are playing tonight and he's gonna be glued to the set for much of the night
how's Gordon? is he behaving??
Gordon is now being really naughty, hes in and out of cupboards.
Oh you know that pedigree cat we saw when we first moved in, I called him 'Tarquin?
Well his owner was by our door today chatting to Abdel and she had the cat on her shoulder as thats how he likes to be carried around.
Gordon came downstairs, took one look at that cat and then puffed himself up into 'bottle brush' as I call it, and then shot off upstairs.

He is now brave enough to sit by the window and stare outside but the slightest noise and he runs upstairs.
Its a shame you know, it would have been lovely for you to come round.
