kitchen being refitted, new tiles and wood floors and all that feature brick being covered up and then decorated. New sofas on order, new curtains/blinds etc.

We always knew as soon as we could afford we would replace the kitchen and the slate floors. New front door going in too. Wish he was earning more, the budget is non existent!

It's awful when you're house is in disarray due to decorating but it's brilliant when it's all done and you have a shiny new house

We're starting ours in a few weeks, I'm dreading it. Although my OH is going to be putting it in, so it might be next year before it's done
