Gerry, really gutted for ya mate, was thinking about it most of the day, wishing you would be on here later with the 'yipppee were on our way', what will you do now, how much under the asking price did you say that company offered you? are you in a position to be able to accept there offer, I know we all want as much money as we can but how long will you be in limbo for if you dont sell and start living that dream. That Homebuyers company got intouch by phone with me today and offered me £125,000 instead of the £170,000 its up for on market, I really dont want to take it but I have a sickening feeling in my stomach I should, cos who knows how long we will have to wait and if the market is going to get even worse
its so friggin scarey at moment,

Sorry Gerry,
Youve answered what I was asking, you must have been sending your post as I was sending mine. If its any consolation house prices are staying put in Perth and some are being reduced, Refresh my memory, was you going to Perth

We're trying to sell at the moment, it's been on since January and we have had 8 viewings and nothing. We are actually changing EA next week but got a feeling that we will end up renting ours out. To be honest, I'm not convinced it's the right time to sell it anyway. The prices are rubbish here at the moment and also even if you do sell and take the equity, the exchange rate is pants as well. I can see us hanging onto it for a couple of years or so and trying again (although selling from Oz would probably be a nightmare too
) Hope it works out for you soon Gerry

yeah the renting route has gone thru my head too!!
but we then have no money to get to oz

So sorry that it didn't work out for you!
