We can't really be bothered to move before we move into our own place, too expensive so I think we are stuck here until after Xmas unfortunately

Actually these are great mates but the past few weeks they've been a bit distant -as if they are trying to get on with life with us gone already - does that make sense. it hurts actually

we leave the house Monday so am doing a few rooms a day to spread it out a bit. The landlord is round 8am Monday to inspect the place so have three days left

I understand what you mean re your mates. One of mine I last saw last week - her family and ours were at another mates house and she just walked out. It did really hurt at the time but I could understand it, it was her way of dealing with it. She went on holiday a few days later and I got a card in the post saying 'goodbye'.

I remember a posting a little while back that said how shocked people were at the number of friends who didn't keep in contact after the move. I keep looking at all of mine wondering who will and who won't, sad really.

I suspect you'll see a few tears tonight
