The girls are have always been in the habit of a flying leap to our laps. When hubby had it done, I collected them from school and had to go into detail as to why they couldn't do that to cuddle him. We walked through the door and they both said in sync "Hey Dad, how's your balls" at the top of their voices When he started going into chapter and verse they lost interest very quickly

Try this:

Scouse Vasectomy

After having their 11th child, a Scouse couple decided that was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed.

So the husband went to his doctor and told him that he and his wife didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him there was a procedure called a vasectomy that would fix the problem but it was expensive.

A less costly alternative was to go home, get a big firework, light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10.

The Scouser said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest guy in the world, but I don't see how putting a firework in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me".

"Trust me, it will do the job", said the doctor.

So the man went home, lit a banger and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5," at which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs so he could continue counting on his other hand.

This procedure also works in Birmingham, parts of Essex, inner London, Sheffield, and Newcastle and anywhere in the valleys of Wales.

Anyways, better a scalpel than rusty bricks!!

Back to the original question: a month before flying might be okay, and then again you might be unlucky. I am going to get it done with at least a couple of months to spare.

Well, we are 2 months on and now to reveal a lot of the stuff they don't tell you:

It hurts
Don't plan on running for a few weeks
Many surgeons are female
Speedos are the ONLY choice of underwear
You WILL want to check all is in working order within 24 hours
Daytime TV is crap

.....and then it's back to life as normal!! With the same number of kids we had before the op................!

My OH had it done here in Australia - light general anaesthetic and he had no problems after with swollen, blue, painful balls - they were just bruised for a week or so - surely a lot less painful/expensive than an unwanted pregnancy!!!
