We found any of the loos we went to were free. Being used to paying 30p for a wizz in London this seems like a luxury! (especially as they were all clean, had plenty of loo roll and hadn't been vandalised...)

Oh yeah and there's some stuff going on this weekend here (It's Canberra Day on Monday for those fortunate enough to be burdened with work
).
OH and I are going out early (6.30am) Sunday morning on our newly registered m/bike to view the hot air balloons going up

Yep, my kids did a heap a free council activities over the holidays, Zumba, Circus Skills, Acro Dance, Drama, Singing. We always go to the free concerts in the Botanical gardens like the Australian Ballet's, Ballet in the Park. Wanted to take them to the Museum, Art Gallery, GOMA etc on the holidays too but it was all closed with the flooding, do all that soon because we haven't been since we came back. We're always at the Library too, heaps of freebies and activities to do there - kids all got free books with the library holiday reading program too.
