Although they should be allowed to build the mosque because America is a free country built on religious freedom; it does show a lack of sensitivity and common sense. It does come across as a bit rude.

It would be interesting to see what the reaction would be if the city council licensed a few hot-dog pitches outside the mosque. I wonder if they would welcome them with open arms because it's a free country.
