Quiet in here these days....
First the doorman left and was never heard from again, now all the customers seem to have legged it as well.
So I shall sit in solitary state, watch the planes flying over turn the jukebox up full and consume this beautiful bottle of Cherry Baileys on my tod

I'm here too, as OH is out partying tonight. He had karate yesterday and has it again tomorrow, so that is 3 nights on the trot I'll be on my own. I have just put a bottle of Hunter Valley pinot gris in the fridge, but whilst it cools, who's for a drink??

Got myself a bottle of Amarula Cream to have a couple of glasses tonight. Been an eventful couple of days culminating in having to do school pickup after they were kept on the school oval an extra half hour after school after being evacuated due to bomb threat

Yes, we are fine and thankfully the house is unscathed, apart from having a roof covered in bits- which today's wind is busy blowing off into the pool. None of the branches was thicker than my arm, luckily. Still too windy to look further down the garden, but it is fairly wild anyway because nothing will grow except weeds due to all the ****dy trees blocking out the light! I was hoping that maybe the large gum would come down (not over the house mind you) but all it did was drop a few branches.

Should be pleasant weather now, hopefully.
Brisbane is cooling down a lot. Feels Autumnal already.

Can I have some vino as anaesthetic? I got sunburnt on the bingo wings just sweeping the patio today. OUCH.
