I work in a preschool and we had a Tallulah, sweet girl, and her sister Daisy. Fine unless you shorten them and then you have Tu Dais!!! ( two Days) I did mention to the mum that and she laughed. Luckily shes a mate also.

We have had Charles-Richard, which you werent allowed to shorten and the poor boy had a double barrel surname. His brother Rufus.

Our old neighbours youngest of 5 kids was Xandor Valentino!! Watson!!

My daughter had a friend with twin brothers who were called

Hoxford and Livar (pronounced Leeevaaaar). Everyone called them Oxford and Liver. Their baby sister was called Honeybun

Why do people feel the need to saddle their children with bizarre names?? I know everyone has a right to call their child what they want, my dad argued with me when i told him KELSEYS name, he said he would call her Kelly...i told him that wasnt her name, but he couldnt understand it!!

But, please, why land your beautiful innocent baby with names like:
Princess Tiamii. or however you spell it.

Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo

There should be a limit on how stupid a name is when you go to register.

Its bad enough having a crap surname with out a crap 1st name aswel.
My maiden name was awful and i couldnt wait to get married. ( it wasnt AWFUL as in Nickie Awful, it was an awful surname )

There is a girl in DDs class called Tallulah as well. I'm wondering if the name was a fad 9 or 10 years ago as this girl is 9 and the girl in the OPs link is also 9.

I've got an unusual name and got picked on all the time, esp when we lived in Scotland, I was called "Pastie" because a meat and potato pie is called a Bridie

Much as I love my name, it did make me wary of calling DD anything that stood out too much.....
