Re: St Valentine's Day
I was incorrect when I said I would be home by myself. I have a date! He's taking me to lunch in the city then we're going to the arts festival.

Re: St Valentine's Day
Mother in Law's birthday and youngest daughter's birthday. MiL's easily sorted, youngest daughter not so much. We generally end up getting takeaway because the places she wants to go have either got fully booked weeks before and I forget to do it or they are full of hearts and flowers and/or have some naff 'romantic' meal that is double the normal price and probably tastes like shit.
It's her 21st next year, better sort something out now
If he loves me, he'll tell me regardless of the date and the same goes for me. Stupid Hallmark Day.

Spending Saturday watching people with a lot of money running high-powered cars down a drag-strip all day.

My 11 year old daughter has two Year 9 girls that follow her around and openly refer to themselves as her "stalkers". They sent a rose to her classroom for her on Valentines Day

I think you went to a lot of expense for nothing. If all it took to get a leg over was a car ride and a film, it was probably going to happen anyway

Sounds like it's definitely a winner. I must admit from one Perth girl to another, the drives were a right of passage for every Perth teenager. Good old Swan Line was the drive-in of choice for our crowd.

They were, Kim! Mine was the sit-in at the Waverley drives. The boys used to call it the Pool, because of all the breast-stroking that went on

Exactly, pestering and spreadsheets are the best aphrodisiacs.
All went rather well actually...but I really, really want a convertible now.
