Re: Spouse Visa Circle - join here!
Right,
as I was saying!! I spent until about 1am scrolling thru this message board proving they don't lube up and check that orifice (sp??) Instead I found that they do check his 'two veg' (as someone else called it) So he wasn't too impressed with that. But he's in the shower now getting ready to go to his medical - ahh the thigns we do for love eh?  |

Ahh don't worry about bring the cats over really. I've had cats around me my whole life in Aus. Infact I think nearly every second neighbour in my street had a cat!
It's true about the wildlife and what not - frogs, lizards etc. But just keep them indoors or maybe make an outside enclosure (like my mum has for her 3 cats) You don't have to though - just what some people choose to do. Also having a bell around their neck etc to scare the birds away. |
Re: Spouse Visa Circle - join here!
Right, We've had his chest x-ray done. We popped back home as medical not til 3 so will be leaving in about 40 mins for that.
I have a Q about the medical form, where it asks Q's such as if you are a female are you pregnant and then option of yes or no. If you are a male would you need to put NA or leave it blank? Also aother q is if you are applying form inside Aus are you such and such. yes or not. Well we're not applying in Aus so do we leave it blank or tick NA? I wish I'd asked these questions a week ago!! |

Re: Spouse Visa Circle - join here!
Tearose about the interviews- Australia House sent me a document the other day about how to send your spouse application and what happens next. In that it says that you should ''expect'' to be interviewed but this may happen in person or over the phone. Hope that helps.
Kirsy hope your husbands meds went okay.... |

So now all we are waiting for is the pcc checks, it's been 4 weeks today so hopefully in the next few days we should get those. Waiting on copy of Aussie citizenship from the people who have done 888 for us (didn't realise this was needed until I read in here!!) and also waiting on statements from UK family as I wanted those done aswell. Then we can apply!! (I think!) I'm so excited, I can't wait to go home!! |

Lollyk - how long did you have to wait to be seen?
not too bad really - we got there about 11.15 and were seen at 12.45. you take a ticket when you go in like at the butchers - it was on 93 when we got there we had ticket 100. the chap we saw was really helpful but they are very strict on who can witness the photo - he had to speak to his manager to make sure mine was ok (i was sweating for a while)...has to be someone on their list not just someone who can sign british passports. he said we should get them in 10 working days. hope this helps lolly |
