I thought I would have sold my house by today (Exchanged Contracts) and quit my job, but....

I have to say that I will NOT miss the UK housing market and the way you buy and sell houses here.

Mines been on the market since Sept 07 - it's been sold 4 times and fallen through each time - aaarrrgghhh!!

The latest delay excuse is fantastic though - the guy at the bottom of chains solicitors want to know how much noise is created by the trains that go past the house and wont sign the paperwork unless they know. Funny thing is the rail-line is disused - so apart from ghost - trains its pretty quiet! This is not an acceptable answer apparently lol I despair!

Am thinking of sending them some Thomas the Tank Engine DVD's for reference.

Hope it doesn't fall through and I get delayed here again, the last time the house sale fell through was due to our buyer receiving a large mobile phone bill so pulled out of the sale!! :curse:

Sounds good. I sent my front loaded application on the 19th January. I haven't heard anything yet, fingers crossed as I want to hurry up and book the flights :).

Hi Guys,

Have got my propective spouse visa - woo hoo!! Sent it 26th Jan , everything front loaded and had an email today from CO its been granted!! :thumbsup:

Ah, I'm so pleased for you.
Nah, I thought your pics looked great - I was being very nosey lookin at them all! ha ha! You guys look like the same age as us. I'm 28, OH is 29. Oh yeh and your fella looks very Australian - in a good way! ha ha!

Thanks chicke, I would think thats why you havet heard yet cos of your meds and police checks - wont b long though.

OH is 26 in March and im 29 - he is my toyboy!! he he, yeh but around same age - oh OH is a true blue Aussie for defo!!

I wil get very drunk this weekend, Rugby on tomrrow too!
