Dont kill huntsman spiders, they eat cockroaches, mozzies, redbacks..... if you are not keen on them in the house, just gently remove them back outside.

You need a husband to do that for you............I could not bear to touch a spider and tooooooo scared to do the "sieve method" thing in case it runs up my arm...........

The last 2 I had in this place have been in my bedroom, sorry but I cannot abide the thought of one running over my face when I am asleep.

Sorry but if there is a spider (especially one as big as a huntsman) then it has to go and I don't give a monkeys what good they do - I just don't want them in the house.

Or anything else for that matter.

It REALLY is not all that bad here as regards spiders and snakes avi..........for some of us it's just the other stuff like terminal boredom LOL!!

And that is MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION.

I love the way he stumbled over the food container in the panic to get away!

And some very wise comments from the five year old girl

Rather than a sieve get a transparent plastic box (like ones you can keep food in in the fridge) then you can always see what it's doing. We've removed spiders, millipedes and scorpions like this and they just try to run away, not up your arm. It's much better than spraying them - then they survive long enough to run off and disappear so you don't know where they are.
