I started out with a ZX81 then onto something called a 'Grundy Newbrain' which nearly became the BBC Micro. They are rare now and valuable - unfortunately it got lost years ago in a house move.
My first hard disk was a 5MB 2nd hand thing the size of a house brick and I had to drive down to Manchester to collect it from someone. Now I've got a drive on my desk which is 200,000 times that capacity in the size of a paperback.

I'm getting all nostalgic about the old games - remember the first version of Simcity? I downloaded it the other day from one of those abandonware websites.

Remember the binatone consoles?
I had one in black and white and it had a dodgy tennis game on it!

For a laugh I used to reprogram my opponent's (usually my brother) paddle so it would move slower around the screen and he would always lose
