Mrs Wol goes to bed clad in Tshirt, sweater, fleecy anorak, track suit pants and long socks. And complains about freezing all night. With the heating on...............

But on the brighter side, the new build has had the heating commissioned, and is nice and warm. We've got that new-fangled "insulation" in it - some of you may have heard of it? <g>.

Wendy, I just mentioned on another thread that in my 36 winters here this is the first time I have felt the cold

...and guess what? I've just been diagnosed with a thyroid problem. I wonder if this could be the problem

Hmm, wonder if this is whats wrong with me then.
I am freezing in Perth, my hands are blue and even at 23c i have the fire on full.
I have been cold for a long time, but everyone else seems fine.

Same here, blue hands and feet etc

...worth finding out isn't it? Got all the heaters on and electric blanket. I've never felt the cold in all those winters
