Read the online Indian newpapers just about every day theres some new headline article about how racist Australia is and how they want to boycott the OZ cricket team and so on , still theres record numbers of Inidans immigrating to OZ. IF its such a racist country then why are Indians the largest or second largest immigrant group.
OZ is racist just like all other countries. Live with it.

I can't wait for the heavily funded multicultural food festival in a few weeks in canberra ... lots of food, dance, music from all over the world. It is pobably of canberras most popular events. Everyone gets exposed to everyone else in a great friendly atmosphere... none of these good vibes are ruined by what a few fools may do on Oz day..

Hmmm...cultural differences can be a barrier - but mostly an amusement at best and confusing and confounding at worst. Someone's habits might even be quite offensive. But no need for attacking someone. That is all in my opinion.
A few years ago we found some of our Indian employees kept themselves to themselves at lunch but we liked them. I met one this morning who has moved on in his career - nice bloke - he was crap a few years ago - but that was lack of experience. Now he'll be going from strength to strength. He told me he was grateful for the support I gave him as a grad.
