Well, am outta this Scottish hating thread:) cya:) I used to argue on BE, but nowadays i cant be arsed! but you'll be pleased to hear, i will be voting for independence.
Or maybe the Scots just want to feel important and for the English to beg and plead for them to stay in the Union? If Scots think there is going to be mass panic and sadness from South of the border at Scotland going it's own way then they are mistaken. As someone else on this thread has mentioned, the English have been blamed for Scotland's woes for so long now that I think many in England are just over it all. |

Natwest has 1500 odd branches in England. All the "traders" are based in London. Try again. Far, far more English people stood to lose from The RBS Group going bust than Scottish. If the Scots gain independence then they won't have a tartan pot to piss in before long. If the RBS had gone under it would have hit Scotland a whole lot harder than England, regardless of how many people work in each country. |
Re: Scottish Independence
interesting trivia:
Scotland has the highest proportion of redheads in the world. Around 13 per cent of the population has red hair, with 40 per cent carrying the recessive gene. |

I don't think an Englishman wanting Scotland to become independent can be classed as Scottish hating can it?

Re: Scottish Independence
It seems that most of the prominent 'Proud Scots' can't stand living there so does it really matter who rules the place?
