Looks like someone else has come to the same conclusion I have - Salmond doesn't really want independence, he wants devo-max. Real independence is hard, with nasty issues.

Can he and Cameron stitch something up between themselves; Cameron gets rid of the scottish MPs, Salmond gets his little fiefdom to rule over?

41 Labour MPs currently sit from North of the border compared to 1 for the conservatives!

Best thing that can happen for labour is that scotish MP's are restricted to voting on Scotish issues only and not allowed to vote on England and Wales issues like they are now.
