Australian friends that were at the game (couple in their late 40's) said they were booed and verbally abused by England supporters after the game.

That really sucks. All supporters should give credit to the winning team. Sour grapes for sure.

Indeed. Pool B could be interesting now. Japan playing really well. Good for them. I hope they do really well considering they are hosting the next RWC.

I was at the game, and saw no such things happening.

Everyone was really quiet and pissed off really. Well except the Aussie fans. They weren't saying much though.
