Me too. Wales back row is miles better than Englands.

Interesting...

And what a great game too - probably the best league game I have ever watched, period. :)

How about AFL GF attendance 98,633 (not a close match; like Twickers)?

This sign was obviously made up before RWC - a pub in Keswick, England. I bet they don't get as many watching the matches now! We're now getting the 'it isn't a true RWC without England' comments from the likes of the ever so slightly smug Stuart Barnes.

You must be kidding banging on about crowd numbers.

I have yet to not see a match no sold out. Fiji v Uruguay. Sold out. Shall I go on? And at the price tickets are selling for, it shows how popular the sport is outside your little bubble of Melbourne.

Touchy. Twickers and RFL attendance was mentioned and I merely pointed out AFL to put it in perspective. There's no ground in Britain to match the MCG for numbers. About that number watched the 1st WC match between Australia and England. You won't feel it in Australia but the RWC has gone pretty flat here. They are still showing all the ads on TV featuring the England team and past 'greats' from 2003. Damaged goods like VW I'm afraid.

30,048 you must be kidding mentioning that.

Why? At least Scotland won that one. Don't know if they will manage many more.

How would you know. You don't live in England.

I've told you before, the MCG is a joke. Its not even rectangular. No one wants to watch sport in a 90000+ stadium. 40,000 - 60,000 is preferred atmospheric conditions. In the right place, 80,000 works. Like Twickers. Where it doesn't work is Stadium Australia.

We've had this conversation before and come to the conclusion that the only place you've ever seen sport is the MCG therefore cannot have an objective view. You need to get out more.

I wanted Samoa to win, so Japan would have had a chance in the last match. Plus it would have been amusing, since the footie side failed to qualify with yesterdays result.
