Romance is that wild feeling of abandon at the beginning of a relationship where neither can do no wrong in the eyes of the other and you can't imagine ever wanting to be apart or disagreeing over anything........then you move in :p

. . . Anyways, this thread reminds me of an incident a couple of weeks back.
The kids were off to bed, and Cynthia* and I were snuggling up on the sofa watching some romcom chick-flick of her choice when, entirely unprovoked, she turns round and whacks me on the arm (which left quite a bruise). She then sets off on a tirade of personal abuse culminating in her calling me (and I quote) “the most unromantic twat†she’d ever met! . . . . well you could've knocked me down with a feather . . . so surprised was I by this turn of events, that I very nearly dropped my vuvuzela . . . . * - not her real name, but that's what I like to call her. |
