I'll have your liver too if that's OK.

No word of a lie, my current drop, the 5 litre Fruity Gordo, was on special at the BWS for $22 for two.

$2.20 a litre, almost as cheap as petrol and it has roughly the same effect when consumed.

I have just looked 'Fruity Gordo' up and discovered:

1) It is recognised slang for cheap-ass wine
2) It has a Facebook page (Should be ****facedbook?)

The drop is surprisingly easy on my constitution, it does the job efficiently without leaving regret, shame or hangover.

Regarding the flames, yes, it does stir up the bowels somewhat but I see this as a slimming aid.

Together with posting regularly on BE seems to do the job (as it were).

As long as you have nothing planned for the first couple of hours after your metabolism wakes up it works really well.

I have a 4 pack of golden gate Fruity Lexia in my garage too. They were $20 for the 4

I can thoroughly recommend working in the wine industry!

Bad for the belly, I reckon wine is where it's at.

If I ever work for a spirit company then I can safely say it will be my last job.

I'm gonna have to try a few of the wines mentioned in this thread so far.

Dan Murphy's has a full page ad in the courier mail today.

Grant Burge Miamba Barossa shiraz $23.90, apparently it won a gold at the royal qld wineshow... so it must be pretty tasty. I might get one.
