Re: 'Ping Pong Poms' Sunday Night Channel 7
when we first moved out here we planned to live in the shire.
after spending about a week looking about we decided on the eastern suburbs
the shire was far too white australia for us. pauline felt that the burbs there felt like the stepford wives. our kids had always been surrounded by other cultures and it was far too white for them. best thing we did was move to the eastern burbs.

Ahhh I never knew that
Seems like a hell of a lot of people on here have moved more than I have. I've been in the same area for 30 years. It's looking like Tasmania might tempt me in retirement. I reckon I'd be able to afford my very old sailing hobby down there.

I only caught the beginning as it was tagged on the end of the Masterchef I recorded. Like all reality crap (apart from Masterchef of course!) it was dire viewing. You are missing lovely weather, bit chilly morning and night but absolutely beautiful days. Better than the UK summer!!!

It is crazy hot and humid though. Back home on Tuesday.
BTW i am in the lounge on the 36th floor of the Langham Place hotel, drinking gin and tonic.
