I think, but would need to confirm/check - around $265 each, I think our lovely optician at Specsavers can certify our documents, he has done it before and never charged us.

Then we will be applying for our Aussie passports as we dont have passports at the moment.

Note to self: I MUST gather documents this weekend and do some form filling.

It's just as well we can't afford to leave the country for the forseeable future then.

We still have another two years before we are eligible for citizenship but will also be applying for it as soon as we're eligible to mostly because it makes no sense not to ...That is except for the fact that exery four years or so times two we'll be forced to choose between a bunch of particularly hopeless politicians
