Morning all
Been working 2 x 15 hour days so this is the first time Ive checked in for a while. Hows everyone doing? The mix up with my CO has been sorted this morning, as they sent me the wrong persons information. They apologised today and sent me the letter I expected requestiing custody permission from toms absent father so I am going to spend today finding a solicitor to assist. :) Julie |

Thanks for the info about google earth Rollie:thumbup: Its fabulous, me and the wife spent hours looking about everywhere, even found her house in moscow:rofl: Still trying to find the right departments to verify all my trade quals, then TRA can go off in the post. Some people just don't seem to turn up for work these days. One phone call yesterday, was answered, by knowone speaking and them just putting the phone down on the desk, I could hear what was going on in the office in the background....... some need to get a life....... We have moved to Rockingham. We have been here 4 weeks and have a rental unit, bought car and hubbie has work 3 month contract. If anyone wants advice on Rockingham city. I know my way there and back and what shops are where, where the hospital is and some GP's, bottleshop, haven't found a pub yet though.
I am not on here much but will try and reply to any pm if anyone wants Rockingham specific help. If anyone is in childcare make sure you take your CRB with you and have it up to date then you can use that as a start. I have had major problems with red tape to get the working with children check. You need an address to apply and some agencies will not accept you without it even for babysitting. You need lots of things so be aware that it may take you time to get that ID prior to being able to look for work. We are still finding our feet. My hubbie and I have had lots of redtape issues but love Rockingham and I am going out to look to buy a property. The work really is here if you want it. My hubbie can tell you about public transport in Perth as he travels from Rockingham to East Perth every day. Anyway gotta fly Angie(and Mark):) |

Hi all
Sorry but i'm here to have a moan i am having a really bad day today and everything just seems to be falling a part,had a phone call this morning from agent and got excited thinking that our visa,s had been approved how wrong i was.He had been up till the early hours of the morning calling LCU to see if our medicals had been processed he has sent a few enquires over the last couple of weeks and kept getting the same response MEDS RECEIVED AWAITING CLEARENCES he telephoned them early hours this morning and was told that they have no record of our medicals so it looks like we have to do them all over again MORE MONEY god i am so fed up with whole thing now just feel like giving up it just feels like it's not meant to be the only thing is we have sold our house and will be moving out in a couple of weeks and will be lodging with in laws who i love dearly but don't want to live with for long term.:( x Diane |

I cant believe it spoken to agent and he reckons we will have the visa by the end of June!!! OMG!!!:D
Better get sorting things out now then. Booked meds for the 30th April when we all should have lots of cash spare lol yeah right!:o They mentioned completing some forms and bringing them with me for the meds? I have emailed my agent and awaiting a reply. I tried to find said forms on the DIAC webpage but couldnt as I dont know their names to put into the search box. If anyone can save me some valuable time and let me know where the forms are then I can make a start on those too. Just sent off our police checks too. :D Rhys is being seriously naughty today too and throwing himself on the floor...I dont need the stress!!! I have work tonight and I am shattered after a hectic night last night!! Too much to take in:unsure: How's it going with Paula and Claire???? and Lin are you there yet??
