She really loved him apparently. Really went all out for him at Xmas, she got him diamond encrusted prosthetic legs.

That wasn't even the main present, it was just the stocking filler

Police say neighbours heard screaming and shouting around the time of the shooting, and that they had been called to investigate incidents of a domestic nature at the same house in the past.

And with that the guess that some of us had gets confirmation. He's going to prison for a loooong time.

I can understand the fear of intruders, but to repeatedly shoot- no way was that accidental. If he is guilty, I really hope that he doesn't get let off lightly just because he is a sporting hero - memories of OJ Simpson anyone??

Unfortunately, I don't have much faith in the current SA justice system

Nor does my friend who used to be one of his family's neighbours. She says they are so privileged that they will somehow nobble the judge/jury.

SA does not have the jury system but people who should get harsh sentences often don't, and others who shouldn't, do.

9 shell casings found apparently. He really went to town.

Always thought he was a bit of a prick myself. Hope he gets banged up for a hefty stretch.

Serious question - are you allowed false limbs in prison?

It's not so much if the glove fits....

Losing his legs has surely left him unstable.
