It does indeed.

Some will see conspiracy no matter how illogical is seems because they get off on it - others will see one when it is politically expedient. Illogical conspiracy is different to logical scepticism.

Still think there is no logic to the conspiracy?

No surprise there. I guess they didn't want anyone seeing them executing a sick old man with a shot to the back of the head. (If it happened that is...)

The problem is there's been so many unofficial claims over the years that Osama Bin Laden is dead. Added to that we have become so used to bullshit politicians twisting the truth to their own advantage that we just don't know what to believe any more. The official sequence of events is unlikely to be 100% true.

What do you mean 'the conspiracy'...there is no one conspiracy theory....sure what happened can be questioned etc....but that is totally different to throwing out there wild theories as if they are the truth and people who don't believe them are fools as many are doing. Btw the article provides evidence of which extreme conspiracy? None that I can see.

Sorry for not being clear but surely the conspiracy in question is the topic of this whole thread? You were the one who said and I quote " some will see a conspiracy no matter how illogical it seems". I would argue that there is plenty of logic to believe the version of events presented by the US is not the truth. Not sure why you have used the term 'extreme conspiracy' ?

I think the actual version of events passes the credibility test far more than the extreme conspiracies that are being thrown around web. Extreme conspiracies to me are ones that don't just question exactly what happened but 'state' instead that he has been dead for x years, it's all an election stunt etc Sure discuss wild possibilities but to suggest, like some on the net are doing, that their conspiracy theories aren't full of holes and that they are more credible than the official version and disparage those who don't believe them is plain silly IMO.

With a year to go it's hardly an election stunt is it?
I think from the extensive video footage we can conclude there was a raid, members of his family were shot, some wounded, some killed. As to him being killed; without independent verification of the body & DNA samples there will always be speculation. He could be strapped to a board somewhere singing like a Canary.
I can understand the reason not to publish pictures of the body, we don't need to provide a possible icon for terror, besides even with a photo there would still be sceptics:rolleyes:
