Whew, been a busy few weeks. The 457 came through mid-April, got the passport back two weeks ago, furniture was given away last week, rest of my stuff was collected today and I get on the plane on Saturday! Argh!

Now at the stage of "oh my god, it's actually happening, have I done the right thing?" . Family being a nightmare. Tried to disuade them all from coming to the airport, but they've *all* decided to turn up despite that. Never mind. It is only for three years... may be.

Perth, here I come....

 (well, try to, anyway)

Hello All

Well I'm somewhat behind you guys in my journey of getting a visa but got good news yesterday.

For what seemed like an eternity, Victoria State have got back to me and told me they will sponsor me :D so just got to get off my arse and submit a 176 visa and sit and wait.

hi all...just popping in whilst avoiding packing boxes and cleaning for guests arriving tomorrow! Drank a tad too much last night and still feeling rough:sneaky:

doc, not sure of any places around here but I know there is a Holiday Inn in colliers Wood (Sw19) as I drive past it everyday...

Hi

Its claire who is now officially a loner and will be going on her own to oz, have the visa and a job at flinders hospital in adelaide! Very nervous but excited too you only live once and though i thought i would be going with hubby dave it seems he has had a better offer all the stress and stuff has cracked us! But i am determined to follow my dream and what is the worst that could happen i could be miserable in the sun! All i am waiting for is this bloody house to sell then i am off!

Look forward to speaking to you all.
love claire
