I have owned the Karcher that this one is replacing since 1998 - and it's still working (needs a repair but I can't be arsed)

Under $200, 2 year warranty, I'll survive

I thought they were good as well. I bought one for work called "Professional" Used it a few times & it packed up. I took it back under warranty & the same thing happened again a few weeks later. Melco refused to honour the warranty & sent it to Karcher who decided it had been used for longer than 10 mins at a time therefore wasn't covered. FFS I can't wash the 4X4 in less that 20mins
Shitty plastic parts inside that are machined brass on cheaper models. Crap warranty & crap attitude from Karcher at Maroochydore. I'll never buy another Karcher
I bought a big Honda powered petrol one for $700 bucks & its not missed a beat in 4 yrs

I had a trunk at the Tesco grocery website the other day. Haven't looked at it in 6 years. I was amazed at how much prices had gone up since I left.

My weekly shop increased by around 40% in a year. Staple items were where the biggest increase seemed to be; meat, veg, cereal.

Having been going back on a regular basis for the last 9 years, I have to say that until the last 12 months price rises for food were much less noticeable. The last two trips have shown quite a steep rise for a lot of food items, though overall I think still cheaper than Aus.
