Only when their food didn't turn up. I've been out and got myself a dress to make up for it.

Well, sort of- I used $100 of my own gift vouchers to pay for the shopping, then used OH's card to pay for the $89 dress. He'll probably comment.

I went mad and bought a cocktail style, peacock pattern sleeveless skater dress, which is way too short and too young for me, but I couldn't resist the gorgeous fabric, and I'm going to have it altered into a shift dress, which will more suit a lady in her 50's.

Funnily enough OH didn't mind the "expense" of the dress - I got a "wow" from him when I modelled it, and 3 wows from DD who said I looked 30 (not 52! ) and that I shouldn't have the skater skirt bottom taken in to make it a more mature shift dress. She took piccies - I actually have a waist in the dress!!
