Re: mass migration
Dont have figures but as you can see there are a fair few ! Mostly due to the scum that are coming in I would say. Cant see how Pommie Bastard (a comical poster on BE) can say it is better here than Aus with the amount of politcal correctness and that wonderful world of diversity going on in the UK.
This country has gone down the toilet.

Keep in mind that the Australian govt doesnt deduct National Insurance directly from your wage. I paid 11% NI on top of 30% tax which evens things out with the Australian deductions. Also, the Aussie employer contributes directly to pensions - not compulsory in the UK.

Australia in 2005 - 2006, 97,500 skilled visas. Around 140,000 visas all up, quite high % in relation to the population , concerns have been voiced by the opposition as to the effect of this on australias job market.
Uk migrants made up 10% of that figure on one website 17% on another, no idea which is correct
But the biggest proportion of migrants come from the various regions of asia, all are listed as different regions, but if you add them up, the highest source of migrants.

The last 'migrant scum' thread had some links, clicking around on them it said 95% of eastern european migrants are working and are not eligible for benefits. Not the impression I would have got from reading some of the theads on this forum.
Some of the comments people make about immigrants are pretty funny considering we are immigrants. Last time there was a 'migrant scum' thread just underneath it was a Uk migrant posting how to leave without paying their debts and another one want advice on frauding UK child benefit. Umm, pot calling kettle black or whatever that saying is

It’ funny how people never look at their own backyard but they are quick to complaint and judge about others when they are doing the same (more or less).
Surely the way UK is heading is not the right path, sure there is plenty of things that are wrong but the Govt should have taken action long ago, but it is never too late.
A “good” example of the law is the Lawyer with a nickname “Mr. Loophole” that always seems to manage to get his clients that committed offences out of jail amongst other things, is it right?. Blame the system.
It isn’t perfect on the other side, but is surely better.
