The best concealer of under eye circles is Christian Dior Diorskin sculpt. It is the same size as a lipstick,so easy to pop in your bag. (having said that I bought mine in uk, think they are a bit bigger here) It is pretty expensive, but lasts for ages,so well worth it I think.
Good luck with the new job
i would deffo recommend clinique for both mascara and eyeliner... The eyeliner has a handy pencil sharpner in the top of it so you are never without one that the kids cant nick... BUT WAIT!!! Dont buy ANYTHING clinique unless they have one of their free gifts going... Differs from seller to seller, but you can pretty much rely on getting another $150 of products free if you buy then...

Hmmm... MY mother USED to tell ME that I looked good without makeup, that I had such lovely skin... Etc etc etc.... But now she is forever sending me articles ripped out of uk magazines about the latest superyoof foundation and anti aging crap that I'm meant to slap on at night... Now that stuff REALLY does make me feel claustophobic....

i looked really young skin wise up until about a year and a half ago, then all of a sudden I'm considering botox.... And covering up red bits with green concealers, hiding dark circles with brightening products and scouring my face for wrinkles... Not that I have to look too hard... i even have a couple of grey hairs!!!!!

I'm exactly the same, well, apart from the fact that I'm turning 40 end of the year! I don't like any make-up on me at all. Just moisturizing lotion and lip balm in the winter, and of course, sunscreen most days.

I had make-up on my face, a couple cans of hairspray and 40+ hair pins on my head, for my wedding, but even then I didn't and still don't like the look. We don't have our wedding pictures on display anywhere in our house. The inlaws had a couple of them on the wall in their house though when we last visited.

That's fab. I hate my boobs, would love to drop a cup. You must be delighted because any woman I have ever met with naturally big boobs absolutely hate them with a passion.

Not me. I used to but now I embrace them and make the most of what nature gave me. Don't have them out on show for all to see but buy my clothes accordingly. I used to hate them but have realised that unless I willing to go through surgery, which I am not, I might as well make the most of them. Hebe a 32F!!!

I was quite proud of them to be honest because it was be proud or hate them and pride was easier to deal with.

But after my friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, I dont care now - as long as they are healthy. I need new bras, I have lost 5kgs in weight despite being on a high dose of steroids, I look sick and scrawny and whilst I would like my pert boobs back, I will settle for being healthy.

Having big boobs made me look a chunk but in the great scheme of things, it didnt matter - I would pay to look a chunk now because at the moment I look sick and I look shit.

Bit of a reality kick for me, I want my health back - boobs or no boobs, I want what I had back and although I might moan about my body, as long as it is healthy - that is fine by me.

Saying that, I am looking forward to buying some feminine bras - I want a bright red push up bra and knickers to match - red is my favourite colour.

I used to wear eye make-up when I was working but since retiring I don't paint my face at all. Who do you do it for? Nobody noticed whether I have make-up or not. Why bother? It's expensive and girls are brain-washed into thinking they need it. I used to wear expensive perfume as well, but don't now.

Olay with SPF is all I use now. I pluck my eye-brows, keep my hair in excellent condition and don't put on weight. I mean, isn't that enough?

Neutrogena do a lovely tinted moisturiser called Healthy Skin Enhancer which has a spf30 and is very light and comes in quite a few shades. I'm hoping it available in Oz, I get mine on eBay at the moment.

I LOVE Covergirl Lash Exact mascara, it's about Aus$17 but I get it on eBay for US$4 each. You can get it in Coles and Woolies (which is handy as I'll be able to sneak one in with the groceries if I run out ).

Prescriptives was wound up by Estee Lauder early last year so won't be available anywhere anymore Shame as it was an awesome brand.

If you can get your hands on it Amazing Cosmetics Concealer is FAB! Covers spots, freckles and dark circles and stays put all day. Also Mally's concealer is budgeproof, not sure if she sells in Oz though. Neutrogena also make on of those undereye pen highlighters which is really nice and comes in at least two shades.

I am currently on the M&S website for clothes, wish I hadn't, I have already added a smart work dress, jacket and shoes to my basket, not that I can afford them nor will buy them but I prefer their quality to stuff here and when I do a M&S order, the stuff always turns up and fits and looks good.

Trouble is with the sizing, I bought a size 16 jacket from M&S which now hangs off me, so I reckon a 14 would be the way to go and possibly a 12 in the dress, but due to being big in the past, I reckon if I plumb for a 14 dress, knowing my luck it wont fit right and I dont know how much hassle it is to return stuff, that puts me off.
I have a MAC concealer that I've had for about 5 years. I also have a concealer brush, so the tiniest amount does the trick. It also makes the concealer go on so much better - looks much more natural.

Some people just don't suit makeup. I can't imagine you with a full face of slap with your lifestyle. Full makeup and hockey don't really mix.

Me too Hebe. 36E here and happy with them. Wish they were a little perkier, but hey! I'm nearly 50 so if my boobs want to sag a bit then they've earned the right.

Healthy boobs - that is the way to go, whatever their size and shape. My friend would pay handsomely for healthy boobs, not ones affected by cancer. At nearly 44, mine are certainly not what they used to be - not bad but they were clear on the mammogram and thats fine by me.

And as you say Dorothy, they earn their right to sag a bit and mine have earned that right beautifully.

I'm in the "wouldn't leave the house without make up club"... Now I don't normally wear a lot, some blusher, eyeliner and a bit of mascara but I wouldn't feel comfortable going to the shops without it on.

On nights out I wear more make up, not always foundation although I do love Christian Dior Airflash foundation, so soft and not at all cakey.

I hate seeing girls who wear so much make up that the colour of their face is different to the rest of them

However if 'you' only feel able to go out in public in full slap then who am I to say it's wrong.

Crap skin with foundation trowelled on looks appalling to me, it seems to draw attention to the spots/scars/etc. I used to work with a girl of 22 who got up really early to trowel the stuff on. She admitted she had never been seen by anyone without full slap since she was 14. If she's sleeping with a boyfriend, she would wait until he was asleep before cleaning her face but get up well before he did to put it on again so he'd wake up and see her 'perfect'. Even on the beach she have the full works. I think she needed (needs) help because that is not normal.
It can be quite entertaining seeing fairly attractive girls getting on trains and going through their regimen ..and getting off the train looking worse for it...they look as if they have dusted their faces in flour..it's what you do before going on set under serious lighting - not into the office, surely?

This whole celeb makeup look is a sorry one, in my opinion.

Hmmm...my wife tells me I need to moisterise...should I?

But Louise, you look like you can pull it off nicely.

If you're going to do it, at least it complements you rather than is the whole undercoat/topcoat Paris Hilton...
