It is so cool watching the Beach Volleyball in Horseguards Parade and seeing the sun shining. Got to be one of the best BV venues ever. :D

Re: The London 2012 Olympic Thread
Had a wonderful day at the cycling road race yesterday in Surrey, the riders came past a couple of times and the rest was watched on a big screen in the pub :D the atmosphere and friendliness of everyone was superb. Whilst the result was obviously disappointing for the British fans the day will go down as one of the best sporting occasions I have attended.
What were the Germans and Aussie teams thinking? They have sprinters capable of beating Cavendish in a sprint as has been shown in the TDF but decided they would rather loose themselves than doing any of the work, basically the Pelloton was run by 4 riders doing 95 percent of the work when they were chasing a group that had up to 20 riders sharing the work. Hope Wiggo has something left in the tank for time trail after basically riding himself into the ground. Loved Cavendishes response to the loss and the way he praised his teammates for basically working like dogs to set him up. |
