They have these marinated roasts in Coles....cheap as....sometimes they turn out great other times its just plain nasty!

I am sure I will try it some day but all I can think of is meat pies when I was a kid - a cheap meat back then to put in pies....

YUP!!!!! My local butcher got me some when i came back from Perth at easter. I braised it in red wine and it was wonderful. It should never be cooked past medium rare as a steak though cos it goes really tough (so i hear )

I haven't, I can't eat meat, well I can but I just can't seem to make myself eat it. However, both Dale and the boy have had it and said it was nice. My 5 year old was very excited about eating kangaroo Mind you he eats anything

They export more then they sell here, I think the locals refuse to eat it, I guess it's like an English person eating squirrel

I have had it a few times in restaurants and it's really nice.

There are professional roo shooters up north, so the meat is free range and not farmed, maybe thats why it's good

Yuk, just the thought of it turn my stomach. But Im daft, I eat meat but dont like it unless its chopped up, e.g I cant bare the though of eating chicken legs either which is stupid as I love chicken!

My kids have tried kangaroo meat, and said it is ok. Eldest tried horse meat and other weird stuff at his last school year when they had an international day and you could bring in your nations foods.(Classmates from all over the world) But he is 15 and will eat almost anything!
