There are reports today that she is in a lot of abdominal pain and Max Clifford has said she is having surgery this evening:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7917851.stm
BBC say she will have the surgery and sky news are saying she has been admitted:

was the lead story.
Hope she is ok and pain free

I wonder if it's not time to stop the operations, up the morphine, and let her say goodbye to her boys. :(

.

What a strange view.

I have never met this person but the fact that she is dying and won't get to see her kids grow up makes me feel deepest sympathies to all concerned.

My Mum is fighting cancer as we speak and has to have a mastectomy on Thursday. We are emotional for sure, but it doesn't stop me feeling very sorry for Jade and HER family also. I think its called compassion for fellow man...(or woman?)

Sorry to hear about your Mum I hope the operation is a success.I agree about having compassion for other people. It does not take much effort to feel for other people who are ill.Sue.

I'm a bit confused because last I heard they had stopped all treatment because it was a lost cause (excuse the wording). Unless they are now trying something completely different but it seems odd to put her through surgery when there's no hope anyway

I read she was in a lot of pain and the meds weren't helping...so they are trying to relieve the pain with surgery.

I don't know much about her new husband...apart from the fact he's just come out of prison for beating someone. I read that on her wedding night she retired early but he partied until the early hours. Then today I read he'd been to a tanning salon after he left her. One would think he would spend every minute he possibly can with her.

Gotta look his best for the publicity shots, hey?

I only really know what I've been reading on this thread and the brief reports I've read on the Beeb site, but there doesn't seem to be much mention of the boys' father. I know he was a reality "star" too. Are we heading for a shitfight like we had for Anna Nicole's baby - who gets the kids gets the inheritance? God I hope not. :( I hope these children disappear into obscurity once Jade dies and the circus leaves town.

I fear that's exactly where it's heading.

I think Max Clifford has dealt with a lot of the legalities. I read that custody was going to the father, Jeff Brazier with her mother and the new husband having visitation rights. All money goes straight to the kids.

The boy's father Jeff Brazier seems like a nice guy and seems to be keeping out of it all.He sees the boy's quite a lot so I hope they will be ok.Sue.

As I understand it she has a couple of big things coming up in the next week or so - she and her boys are being christened with a big magazine deal and there's a tv interview with Piers Morgan on the cards. I should imagine she wants to be around for those as they will bring in quite a bit more cash for her boys, hence the operations to make it easier for her.

Not sure if more surgery is the choice I would make but I can sort of see why she would want to 'drag it out', so to speak.

Let's hope so.

edit: Wow I've just looked up Jeff Brazier - he's been a busy boy since he was on Shipwrecked in 2001.

Amazing how much sympathy a celebrity gets isn't it! If it was wee betty mccafferty from down the road, would you be discussing her terminal illness on here?
