I don't know much about her new husband...apart from the fact he's just come out of prison for beating someone. I read that on her wedding night she retired early but he partied until the early hours. Then today I read he'd been to a tanning salon after he left her. One would think he would spend every minute he possibly can with her.

From what I've read (and obviously no media makes mistakes ) because he's still got his ankle tag on, he actually has to be home at his Mums by 10 every night. Just out of interest, how many tanning salons are open late at night and surely he'd have done that bit before the wedding? They don't half talk twaddle most of the time

Not so long ago a valued member of BE lost her battle with cancer. She wasn't famous, the majority of people hadn't met her and yes we were discussing it at length on here. How can we have a discussion about Betty if we don't know she is sick. If someone brings it to our attention then I am sure the same sympathy would be given to her. What an absolutely bizarre thing to say.

This does get stranger. Having had several close family members die of cancer, all of them had said, NO MORE SURGERY no matter how much pain they were in. In fact many of them wished they never had surgery in the first place and felt bullied into it by doctors. When their conditions deteriorated so badly, they were made "more comfortable" by seriously upping their medication for the last few weeks.

Jade understandably wants to be with her children for as long as possible, I hope the kids have happy memories of their mum, not sad painful ones. I hope she finds the comfort she needs.

Like it or not, celebs are part of our lives. Even yours, seeing as you are posting on this thread. As to poor wee Bettt Mccafferty - wot NB said.

Agreed. Jade has asked for her cancer to be publicised and that is exactly what is being done on this forum. Despite personal opinions about her, cervical cancer is being discussed and that is a good thing.

Very recently a poster in the Goa forum, posted about his son being in a terrible fire and being seriously ill. No one knew his son but he was overwhelmed with good luck messages. Unfortunately when he flew to his son, he suffered a heart attack and died. His family have been, again, overwhelmed by the support, letters of condolence etc from posters from all over the world, regardless of whether they had ever 'chatted' to him on here. In fact, in the end, one poster gathered all the messages together and produced a book for his family to read and keep forever.

I don't expect you to know about either of these cases mentioned, but I would assume you know something about human nature.

Oh, and why would you not expect me to know about either of these cases mentioned? You know nothing about me, so what are your reasons?

I apologise if you knew about them. My point stemmed from the fact you've not been a member for very long and so may not have seen either event as they occurred before you joined and also because of your query as to whether we'd be discussing the case of Jade if she were Betty from down your road. The examples given were the BE equivalent to her.

Didn't mean to offend.

You didn't - no offence taken and no need to apologise :)

I hadn't seen the other events. :o

I should imagine she wants to be around for those as they will bring in quite a bit more cash for her boys, hence the operations to make it easier for her.

Not sure if more surgery is the choice I would make but I can sort of see why she would want to 'drag it out', so to speak.

Jade at first had months then it was changed to weeks to live and now?I hope she and her boys get christened like she wants.

Hmmmm....I read last week Jack will be in charge of the money until the boys are adults. From that link she doesn't actually say the money is in trust until the boys are adults.

Jack won't be getting any money out of me or from the wedding. "He wants everything to go to the boys".

That all sounds a little iffy to me.
